The Award can be studied without a placement. The Certificate and Diploma include practical evidence from working with pupils.

Our NCFE CACHE qualifications are Ofqual-regulated. We also offer specialist courses in areas such as SEN, autism, ADHD and dyslexia, which can help you broaden your understanding. Specialist CPD courses are not the same as regulated qualifications.

Can I study if I've never worked in a school?
Yes. Our knowledge-based Awards are suitable for learners who don't yet have a school placement. Practical Certificates and Diplomas have additional school-based evidence requirements.
Will I have a tutor to help me?
Yes. You'll have tutor support during your course, including feedback on your submitted assignments and guidance on areas that need further work.
Do I have to sit an examination?
These Teaching Assistant qualifications are assessed through assignments and, where applicable, practical placement evidence rather than written examinations.
How do I know whether Level 2 or Level 3 is right for me?

Can I spread the course fee over monthly payments?

How long will I have to finish?
This varies by course. For example, the Level 3 Award includes six months' access. Check the individual course details for the relevant completion period.
