Through making their own decisions and being able to experiment through play and leisure, children and young people will be developing skills and experience in several areas.
To enrol in this NCFE Level 3 Diploma course, you need to be working or volunteering in a school with Key Stage 1 and above. This is because the course involves classroom observations, and nursery or reception classes aren’t suitable for this. You’ll also need to put together a portfolio of evidence to show how you’ve met the NCFE learning criteria. It’s a great way to demonstrate all the fantastic skills and knowledge you’ll gain!
NCFE CACHE suggests that you get 200 hours of practical experience in the school classroom.
