How this certificate course is assessed

As a work-placement course, assessments are carried out with both essays and practical assignments. Essays can be submitted online or via post, and our expert tutors will be on hand to offer constructive feedback. Practical assignments require that you work or volunteer in a school environment and need an expert witness to verify your competence. Like all of our courses, there are no exams for this course.

This is an online course so you can study in the comfort of your own home. We’ll deliver your course materials online, or in the post, if you opt for the printed version. As our level 3 course is online, you’ll be given immediate access as soon as you enrol so you can get started straight away.

12 month ta course

12-month Level 3 Course

The total qualification time for this level 3 Teaching Assistant course is 350 hours which includes 100 hours working in your school placement. You can pass this course in 6-months however you’ll get a full 12-months to complete the course. It’s a very flexible course, study hard and finish sooner or should you need any extra time we’ll be happy to arrange an extension for you.
