This unit provides an understanding of the responsibilities of babysitting and age appropriate toys, activities, and calming routines when preparing children for sleep time.

The aim of this unit is to enable the learner to gain an understanding of age-appropriate craft activities when caring for young children and the benefits of craft activities for young children. It also covers health and safety when providing craft activities for young children.
