These are the 11 Mandatory Units for the 32 credit work-placement course
You will have access to a tutor, via telephone and email, who will mark your work and guide you through the course to help you prepare for your assignments. You will be provided with all course materials along with full feedback for each assignment. The feedback will enable you to interact with your tutor as you complete each unit. Full tutor support is offered throughout the course to ensure your learning outcomes are met to a satisfactory standard.
The total Guided Learning Hours for this Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools is 270 hours and you get a full 12 months to complete your course. This course is completed via home study and you work entirely at your own pace – this means you can complete your course sooner if you wish to put in the extra study time! You will need a minimum of 51 hours classroom placement for this course.
All of your course materials are provided in ‘hard copy’ i.e books so you can have all your course materials, lessons, activities and assignments to keep forever. You may write notes in your books, underline, highlight and use your books as you want. There are a total of 11 written work assignments to complete on this course and you will need to complete practical work-based assessments at this level.
